Indeed, they are started as technical issues or questions, but sooner or later, they are interrupted by often unrelated comments. The 5 or so members who have an average of more than one post per day can continue chatting on other forums.

There is gross exaggeration at work here in these assertions (not arguments, because arguments need facts to justify their conclusions, and facts are in very short supply from those who make these kinds of accusations) which a look at a few pages in the technical section will dispel. If a topic elicits any response at all (many do not) such responses are likely to number in most cases far fewer than ten - and in threads of such duration there is hardly room for disruptive elements to come into play. Go and look! You will see what I mean about exaggeration.

what's happened to the voting form and results of this poll ? Lin indicated that this poll would run for 31 days, now the voting form and results are'nt being shown !?

Netgem have taken the poll off but kept the thread going. I know this as they did this to a poll of mine set up a few days ago.So members who haven't voted now can't
vote! Our democratic right has been taken away yet again

I see what you mean dave, what is the point of having the option to introduce a poll, then remove it, and let the thread itself continue ?
